Before there was Potcheen, the Capn was the house percussionist for the 2002 Best Open Mic in Colorado at the ICEHOUSE in Evergreen. This was the catalyst in his musical career that led him to host his own open mic, where the Potcheen Folk Band was formed..7 years later it became POTCHEEN.
