2015 Royal Gorge Whitewater Festival in Cañon City, Colorado. Our 6th annual event promises to be the biggest and best yet with more Boats, Bands, and Beer. The RGWF will take place at Centennial Park

Whitewater Festival was formed to help establish a Whitewater Park in Cañon City.

There are many ways to enjoy the RGWF. First of all the festival area includes the north banks of the river between the pedestrian bridge and Fourth Street as well as the Pedestrian Bridge over the Arkansas River and the south bank of the river. This means you can enjoy your beer, or whatever beverage you prefer, and great food from our vendor’s right along the Whitewater Park while watching the events. There will be even more food and merchandise vendors throughout the festival this year.

There are two entertainment stages, the River Stage between the Whitewater Feature and Duck Pond and the Main Stage on the southeast corner of the park. In all, there are seven different musical acts to enjoy.

With 20 different events to choose from there is an opportunity for just about everyone to participate and have a good time. The events are designed so both beginners and those with experience can participate. In many situations we will provide all of the equipment you will need. It is fun to watch the events, but participating in the events will create a lifetime of memories. We have many different vendors at the festival ranging from whitewater and outdoor gear to jewelry. If you are hungry we have a great selection of food vendors to choose from, and yes we have vegetarian items as well. There is something for everyone at the RGWF.
